Keventers Chocolate Oreo Shake: What’s Your Favourite?

Hello my foodie folks! Let’s talk about milkshakes today. I am very much sure that you all have a favourite milkshake spot that you love to visit. Milkshakes never fail to brighten your day. That’s why we say this tasty treat is the ultimate dessert. You can never go wrong with these blended beauties. Well, talking about my very loved milkshake brand, these days is Keventers. Guys! While there are different beverage brands available, there isn’t anybody specific in milkshakes like this. Keventers is synonymous to milkshakes.   
The wonderful thing about milkshakes is that you can easily transport them anywhere. They are the perfect travel companion, which means you can dare to take on the whole world with the shake in hand.  


Interesting History 

Keventers as we know it today, is in fact a rebranded avatar of the popular old-school Delhi milk shop that floundered after the 1970s, when the dairy’s land was requisitioned. Keventers, a 92-year-old name in the Indian dairy sector, once synonymous with ice cream carts in Lutyens’ Delhi, is being resurrected as a hip brand for new-age consumers. Founded by a Swedish national in the early half of the 20th century, and later taken over by an Indian industrialist, Keventers is now being made popular again by the latter’s descendant and his two partners. 

Keventers has retained some its original recipes like butterscotch, strawberry, and chocolate. Other than this they have blend of new flavours, ranging from chocolate hazelnut to melting rose, Kit-Kat, mint Oreo crumble and more. Priced between Rs 125 and Rs 250, these bottles have found takers in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. 


Why I am in love with Keventers?  If I am a fan of their strategy that Milkshakes have been available in different forms and lower price points for years. No one has packaged them in a way that make them aspirational, That’s a feat Keventers has managed to achieve. Younger folks love sharing pictures of Keventers bottles on Instagram.   I would say that the quality and the freshness of the product speaks for itself. Think of thick, creamy, slightly salty, lingering sweet, and buttery taste of peanut butter. Add some chocolate to that, enough to make you drool, yet letting the taste of peanut butter come through. Now, imagine this in a chilled milkshake. Choco Peanut Butter shake takes you to an altogether different world! 

Strawberry Fields shake is one for the strawberry fans, but it is quite different from the classic Strawberry shake. Strawberry Fields has the freshness of mint along with strawberry. The flavour of mint is very subtle, and does not overpower the strawberry at all. I will recommend this to everyone of you. Just give it a try. Also the one I loved the most was Mint Oreo Crumble shake which is essentially a minty shake with oreo crumble. If you are a mint fan and if you love After 8 chocolate, you will really like this shake too, otherwise maybe not so much.
