Me & My Bond with Adorable Street Dogs: Unconditional Love
The unconditional love and bond, which dogs have with the humans is unmatchable. I am sure, you will agree with me on this very point. Well Readers... I am! and always have been a dog lover. Talking of the unconditional love always a dog will come to my mind.
I was never sure what “love” was until I saw little dogs on my street looking at me with a big smile—this is the blog about my little furry friends whom I get to meet every now and then. The bond between dogs and humans is a truly special thing. I have a habit of naming these dogs with cute names so that I can remember them. And in exchange of my love they start responding and showing love to me whenever I called them with their names.
Dogs have a special chemistry with humans that goes back many tens of thousands of years. Whoever, said that dog “is man’s best friend,” was speaking the truth. As I have a lot of them already.
Although, I don’t have a dog of my own. Maybe because my little street friends could get jealous. Jokes apart, millions of stray dogs live on the streets of India. I feel it like my duty to show some love to them.
Humans and dogs, by contrast, adore each other. And if you have a dog of your own then you must be feeling very lucky at this moment. Companionship is perhaps the most obvious thing that dogs give us, but this is only the beginning. Scientific evidence has proven that many health benefits come along with pet ownership. Our dogs help us relax, lower our blood pressure, keep us active and more.
I believe no matter how you choose to spend time with your dog, let it be fun and not forced. It's better to spend only five minutes together but be attentive and relaxed than to spend an hour together while feeling stressed and rushed.
In India, animal lovers feeding or caring for strays are met with unbelievable hatred since strays are seen as a threat. People fail to understand that the voiceless animals are living beings who feel the same amount of pain and sadness as humans, and in some cases, even more. Not everyone can own a dog, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy quality time with a canine companion. Bonding with your dog strengthens and preserves your relationship. This is sure to benefit the health and well-being of both you and your dog.
That’s all for now...Hope you liked this blog! Do let me know in the comment section below about your relationship with dogs around you.
SENDING LOVE TO ALL THE DOGS OUT THERE!

DeleteIrony is that Indians(Me Indian too unfortunately) claim that they believe in vashudhev kutumbkam, but they never implement their words in their real life. I have seen a Dog crying in pain at Roadside after got hit by a Tempo and there was one Man who started to beat that injured Dog. He kicked the dog for thirty fucking second and i was unable to help that poor inocent soul. i saw him drowning in the deep sleep. Tears flooded out from my eyes. that Madafaka is a Politician.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a sad incident. I really hope someday people could think in a more human way.
