The famous Chandi Devi temple has got its popularity for the violent form of the goddess it houses. People who are possessed come to this temple to get rid of spirits. It is believed that people who come to this temple during Navratri are believed to get possessed by this form of the Devi as that time the spirit is most powerful. 


#04 Dattatreya Mandir, Gangapur 
People scream abuses at god while hanging from the roof at Dattatreya MandirThis temple is situated in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district. On the new moon & full moon the 'Mahamangal Aarti ' begins at 11.30am. During which, people can be heard shouting, screaming and hurling abuses at the Gods, believing that evil spirits are within them. 


#05 Nizamuddin Dargah, Delhi 
Nizamuddin Dargah is also in this list as it is said that there's a room here dedicated to the ridding of evil spirits. Exorcisms are said to be performed in one room here. Shrieks, yells and screams can be heard from that room, and it's said that exorcisms are performed there.
