Rambagh Palace Steam Lounge Bar: Visit for Luscious Dishes & Exotic Drinks
Hello Readers! Let me take you to my beautiful experience at Rambagh Palace's Steam Lounge Bar in Jaipur in this blog. Many call it Pink City & some also call it Paris of India, but I would say Jaipur is wholesome as an apple pie. The city is a palette of a thousand colors, each one of which has its own story. Like a surreal slice of royalty on a busy road of Jaipur, stands the magnificent Rambagh Palace. As you enter inside the lavish premises, a passage on the right side leads you to ‘Steam’.
STEAM is a life-size steam engine themed lounge & bar on wheels. When I stepped in on to the station like beautiful setup, the welcoming breeze and warmth of service crew gave me good vibes. I was excited to see the carefully restored bogies, a Victorian-style station recreated to perfection and low-slung couches.
When you are there you have two options to sit you can hop aboard the steam engine train or dine on the Victorian-era platform on Mediterranean or Mexican bites or pastas or pizza, surrounded by black-and-white historical train photographs. Of course, I chose to sit inside the old British steam train transformed into golden and beautiful décor.
The restaurant features a stylish outdoor seating area. And serves delicious Italian and Lebanese cuisines along with a wide range of drinks that are available at the bar. I ordered a list of most recommended dishes that included Pasta, Pizza, Nachos, Vada Pao and Watermelon Mocktail. I must say they were as delicious as they look in the pictures here.
After all this, it was time for the ‘Final stop’ aka desserts. In the end we ordered Cinnamon Ice-Cream that put a perfect end to my scrumptious evening.
Also, they are know for their combination of its fine selection of liquors, wines, cocktails, mocktails, single malts and delicious snacks to go with them, from wood-fired Italian crust pizzas to Basil Garlic Prawns, Lamb Seekh Kathi Rolls and Cajun Fish Fingers. Try the Mandarin Kulfi (a frozen dairly dessert).
